Matthew's Thread
A young man stands in his bedroom. It just so happens that today, the 5th of September, isn't anything to this young man. He looks very relaxed, and perhaps you could even characterize his countenance as euphoric. What is the name of this happy young man?

Re: Matthew's Thread
Your name is MATTHEW. As was previously mentioned, there is nothing particularly significant about this day. Well... there is SOMETHING particularly significant, but that information will be disclosed at a later time. For now, it is sufficient to know that there really is nothing extraordinary about today! There are a number of THEORETICAL PHYSICS AND MATHEMATICS BOOKS scattered about your floor. You like to roll around and read them when you're bored. And you're always bored. You have a variety of INTERESTS. You have a passion for understanding nature and the underlying principles that govern it. You like to hear people's thoughts, and you love your friends. You also like to delve into philosophy from time to time. WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Re: Matthew's Thread
You've already worked through the integrals of the conservation of kinetic energy. What's more, you've already jotted down the quick Newtonian differential equations of force. You're not sure why those two equations are next to each other, because they really don't have that much in common other than the fact that they're in the same branch of physics: classical mechanics. You ponder the nature of motion for a moment as you gaze at the page with a goofy expression.
In the universe, motion is inherent. Objects are either at rest or moving uniformly owing to Newton's and Galileo's law of inertia. However, for things to change, there needs to be a FORCE. Forces, then, are the main things that physics ought to concern itself with. And the four fundamental forces of nature would be... Gravity, Electromagnetism, Strong Nuclear, and Weak Nuclear force. You smile lightly, remembering your promise to Einstein. With a quick and determined nod, you close the book and stand up.

Re: Matthew's Thread
You decide to add more to a book you've been working on for a while, now. The concepts you've more or less figured out, but you're just not quite sure how to articulate it yet. Evolution seems to be another one of those physical manifestations of the dialectic process. That damned process is inherent in every evolving system, and it is thus a property of all comprehensible universes. Or at least, that's what you think. Sometimes your thoughts are so profound, you don't understand them...

You solve the problem posed by your clever fetch modus, and then you obtain your computer! Should you proceed to pester Ben?

[10:18] LZ: Huh?
[10:18] LZ: Who is this?
[10:19] SD: ...Ashley. :C
[10:19] LZ: ...Oh! Hey, Ashley!
[10:19] LZ: How's my kitty doing today? :3
[10:19] SD: Purrfect, if you'll excuse the pun.
[10:19] LZ: I won't.
[10:19] SD: That works just as well I SUPPOSE.
[10:19] LZ: So what's up?
[10:20] SD: NOTHING EXCITING, IF THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE INSINUATING.
[10:20] LZ: ...So you just disturbed my inquiry into the nature of essence...why?
[10:21] SD: Because I can.
[10:21] LZ: ...Right, well!
[10:21] SD: NO!
[10:21] SD: I SHALL HAVE THE LAST WORD.

Women are strange creatures that you'll never understand. And you hope to understand everything someday. CAN STRING THEORY DESCRIBE WOMEN???

You continue doing what you were doing. ...Wait, why are you thinking about the binomial theorem? Weren't you concerned with the dialectic process moments ago...? You must be one weird person. You quickly shrug this notion off and continue your mathematical endeavors!
